In the rare case that the patient needs to undergo further surgery or hospital treatment, Copenhagen Eye Institute will provide a direct referral to the hospital and also offer a professional ophthalmologist check-up during the process.
Waiting Times for Public Eye Doctor Appointments
We have an agreement with the public healthcare system, which means that patients with a health insurance card can be treated with us. However, this arrangement is subject to certain limitations and we do our best to use public resources responsibly and efficiently.
Currently, the waiting time for non-urgent patients is approximately 6 months.
