At Copenhagen Eye Institute, public patients can book an appointment with us using the yellow health insurance card by phone. We offer eye examinations and treatments. Please note that there may be a waiting time for public patients.

Waiting time through health insurance
We have an agreement with the public healthcare system, which means that patients with a health insurance card can be treated with us. However, this arrangement is subject to certain limitations and we do our best to use public resources responsibly and efficiently.
Currently, the waiting time for non-urgent patients is approximately 6 months.

Parking space
Unfortunately, we do not have dedicated parking spaces for our patients. We therefore refer to nearby parking garages:

Copenhagen Eye Institute is centrally located in Copenhagen at Kejsergade 2, 2nd floor, 1155 Copenhagen K. Our clinic is easily accessible by public transport.
- Metro: We are only a few minutes’ walk from Gammel Strand Metro Station (M3/M4 lines) and Nørreport Metro Station (M1/M2 lines)
- Bus: Several bus lines stop nearby, including at Gammel Strand and Nørreport.
- S-train: Nørreport Station is served by several S-train lines
