During her stay, she participated in daily examinations and also had the opportunity to observe surgeries, which she found particularly exciting as she experienced advanced technology in practice.<br aria-hidden=\"true\">From the first day, Am\u00e9lie felt warmly welcomed and included as part of the team. She highlights the open and international environment, as well as the great care and respect shown toward both patients and colleagues. Regardless of background or language, she experienced that great effort was made to ensure everyone felt safe and supported.<br>The internship gave her valuable insight into ophthalmology, from everyday diagnostics and treatments to highly specialized and modern surgical procedures, which were among her highlights. Am\u00e9lie describes the stay as very educational and is grateful for the opportunity she was given.
