Vision loss costs the global economy $411 billion every year in lost productivity alone. <\/p><p>The burden of most eye diseases and visual impairments is not distributed equally. Lack of access to eye care is one of the biggest reasons for this unequal distribution. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a6e26b0 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a6e26b0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Good vision for a meaningful life.<\/strong><\/p><p>Vision supports the development of social skills, strengthens friendships, increases self-esteem and maintains well-being. It is also important for participation in sports and social activities, which are essential for physical development, mental and physical health, personal identity and socialization. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f7fc5b1 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f7fc5b1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>We create opportunities for children.<\/strong><\/p><p>Young children with early onset severe visual impairment can experience delayed motor, language, emotional, social and cognitive development with lifelong consequences.
