Anesthesia is administered into the skin with a thin needle. The anesthetic may cause a brief stinging sensation and slight tension in the skin, but afterwards you will not feel any pain in the area, only touch.  <\/li><li class=\"\" data-start=\"1967\" data-end=\"2206\">Procedure: During surgery, the excess skin is removed and the wound is sewn together with self-dissolving threads in depth and a fine thread in the skin. The surgery is usually performed on both eyebrows simultaneously to ensure a symmetrical result. <\/li><li class=\"\" data-start=\"2207\" data-end=\"2359\">Scar: There will always be a scar after surgery, but it will be hidden in the eyebrows and forehead creases. During the first week, you should keep your head elevated at night to reduce swelling. Avoid going to the swimming pool or swimming in the sea until the threads are removed.  <\/li><li class=\"\" data-start=\"2937\" data-end=\"3047\">Smoking: Smoking slows wound healing and increases the risk of infection, so it&#8217;s best to avoid smoking.<\/li><\/ul><p>Follow-Up and Check-Up:<\/p><ul data-start=\"3081\" data-end=\"3610\"><li class=\"\" data-start=\"3081\" data-end=\"3212\">Thread removal: The threads are usually removed 10-14 days after surgery. The date and time for this is agreed at the time of surgery. <\/li><li class=\"\" data-start=\"3213\" data-end=\"3303\">Follow-up: If further checks are needed, they will be arranged during surgery.<\/li><li class=\"\" data-start=\"3304\" data-end=\"3610\">Contact for complications: If you experience symptoms such as increasing pain, bleeding, pus, increasing redness or other unexpected discomfort within the first 3 months, you should contact us.<\/li><\/ul><p>As with all surgeries, there are small risks:<\/p><ul data-start=\"3689\" data-end=\"4078\"><li class=\"\" data-start=\"3689\" data-end=\"3804\">Asymmetry: Asymmetry can occur between the two eyebrows, which may require a new surgery to correct it.<\/li><li class=\"\" data-start=\"3805\" data-end=\"3963\">Excess skin: In some cases, excess skin may remain on the upper eyelids after surgery, which may require additional surgery.<\/li><li class=\"\" data-start=\"3964\" data-end=\"4078\">Sensory disturbances: You may experience sensory disturbances in the operated area, which will usually subside over
